It is against the law to physically or sexually assault someone. This includes ALL forms of unwanted physical or sexual behaviour. The police have a duty to help persons who are being assaulted. They can arrest and charge an individual.

Hospital Services
Any injuries, however minor, that are incurred during an abusive incident should be treated and documented. 24-hour emergency services are offered. A variety of counseling programs are available.
