Please join us on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at The Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel in Richmond Hill for our Children’s Champion Gala and help an innocent child recover from the trauma of sexual abuse!

As you may know, hundreds of innocent children experience the horror of sexual abuse in our Region every year. The shocking reality is that 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 4 boys will be affected by sexual violence before their 18th birthday. This year we are asking you to join us in our continued efforts to provide hope to the victims of these serious crimes by becoming a Children’s Champion and making a difference in your community once again this year.

All proceeds from the Children’s Champion Gala will be used to eradicate waiting lists for service and to enhance our programs for children who have experienced sexual abuse in our region. Becoming a Children’s Champion has many benefits—including a chance to profile your company at one of York Region’s most notable charity events!

On Saturday, February 27, 2010, we will join Galit Solomon of CTV News at the beautiful Sheraton Parkway Toronto North Hotel in Richmond Hill. Please expect a follow-up call from us in the near future.

Every year, hundreds of innocent children in York Region experience the horror of sexual abuse. The shocking reality is this: 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 5 boys will become victims of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday. If you believe that all children deserve a childhood free from fear and hurt, then please help us provide hope to the young victims in our community.

The Children’s Champion Gala is an annual black-tie fundraising dinner that brings an evening of hope to children, youth and adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse.  All proceeds from the event are used to eliminate the waiting lists for the assessment and counselling treatment for children, youth and adults who have experienced child sexual abuse in our Region.

Becoming a Children’s Champion Sponsor has many benefits including a chance to profile your company. The Children’s Champion Gala is fast becoming one of York Region’s highest - profiled charity events!
